Conforming Loan Limit Increases for 2019!
This provides more options for your borrowers in choosing a new home!
The regulator for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac has announced that beginning on January 1, 2019, conforming loan limits will increase as follows:
• For one-unit properties located in areas that are not designated as high-cost, the 2018 maximum loan limit is increasing from $453,100 to $484,350.
• For one-unit properties located in areas in which 115 percent of the local median home value exceeds the baseline conforming loan limit, also known as high-cost areas, the 2018 maximum loan limit is will be $726,525 – or 150 percent of 484,350.
These new ceilings will open new doors for buyers as home prices continue to rise across the country.
