I Almost QUIT REAL ESTATE – The Ugly Side of Real Estate

The business of Real Estate looks so sexy on Million Dollar Listing as they walk away with 6-figure commission checks and so easy on House Hunters where agents show their buyers only 3 properties and they pick 1. HGTV paints the rosiest picture. Similar to social media and I’m guilty of it myself. At the end of the day, it’s MARKETING. They don’t show you the ugly side of real estate, but I WILL!

The reality in real estate is just like the reality of life. You have good days and you have bad days. In this video, I share a lost file of one of my bad days.

– If you are considering getting into the real estate business, you need to see the good, bad and the ugly.

– If you are an agent thinking of quitting the real estate business, know that you are not alone. Take some time to process. Learn the lesson(s) from the experience and then refocus. What is your big-picture real estate goal? Refocus on that. SEE THE FOREST FROM THE TREES.

– If you are a buyer or seller watching this video, it is also good for you to see. Going into a transaction expecting perfection and for everything to go your way is not a fair expectation that will lead to unnecessary stress.

Why do disappointing things happen or things not happen exactly how we plan sometimes? Perhaps, your delay is actually a blessing. Maybe you being stuck in traffic meant you avoided a fatal accident. No matter what happens, TRUST that things will work out how they are supposed to!
